I'm a new yoga teacher with a nursing and reflexology background. Even in the middle of Wyoming, people are responding to yoga and reflexology to improve their health and way of life. As a nurse and previous employee of a large insurance company, I know that we have many HIV/Aids patients in Wyoming with limited resources. I have recently gotten acquinted with a the community service person at our only hospital here and maybe I can provide (after training) a much needed service for HIV/Aids residents. I found your address about a year ago.I've wanted to get interest in a PWA yoga group in Topeka Kansas in the past year. I had done a search for yoga online and was surprised to see how much info there was for PWAs and yoga. My interest was sparked again by an article in the February POZ magazine. I intend to begin a program following the poses in the magazine. I would really hope to find someone experienced in the Topeka area that would be interested in getting a group together. Are there any instructors out there interested. If not, I hope to get a few other PWAs together and try to work something out on a weekly schedule with instructional help from your resources listed here. I currently am working with a new AIDS service organization that may possibly be interested in helping sponsor a group. Thanks for your contribution to POZ magazine.
