Hi, I'm the webmaster for Bikramyoga site and I've contacted you before. I am continually grateful for your work. Last week I was at Kripalu assisting in a Bikram yoga intensive, and had the opportunity to refer one of our students who was HIV positive to your homepage for resources and information. As I have greatly enjoyed the yoga for AIDS video, I recommended it to him as well.
Thanks again. Namaste!!!!

Blessed Selves, Hari Om Greetings! My sanskrit name is Shabda which means 'sound'. Swami Sivamurti gave me my name at Satyanandashram Athens Greece in 1986. I'm interested in hearing from other devotees of Paramhamsaji and others who have studied with Swamiji or have met her. I've just this month begun to explore email and the net. I'm grateful to you for operating the Yoga Group site and for posting my message. As my guru says in the title to his book: " Yoga From Shore To Shore and Door To Door! " Jaya Satyananda, Paramhamsa Guru! Jaya Yoga Group Web Site, Gateway to CyberYogaSangha! Om Namah! OM TAT SAT Shabda

As a former employee of the Midwest's largest HIV/AIDS network for people living with HIV I am glad to see something like this occuring. On a personal level, as a yoga teacher, I have witnessed the profound life changes that the "yogic lifestyles" can provide. The victory of our spirits can not be curtailed by this epidemic, and I wish peace to all the spiritual warriors engaged in the battle with HIV and all of its shadow sides. Jai Bagwan my brothers and sisters. Peradise

Namaste,
I was diagnosed (isn't that an awful word) with Aids in 1984. Yes, I have some pride over this, but the more I survive, and see, the less I am proud, and the more grateful I become. I was Illness free until 1994, when stress, work problems, partner problems and all....brought about several opportunistic infections (isn't that! a great phrase). I continued with one illness after another for the next three years -- PCP, fatigue and finally CMV pnuemonia and retinitis...but I always practiced Yoga, having learned from several trips to India from a friend and Guru in Juhu, Bombay. I never quite believed it to be anything other than an exercise, until I devoted myself honestly. Since the fall of 1996, with intregity and yoga, I have made a remarkable recovery, and am now living free of my central line (for drug infusion) and have begun what I believe is my true path in life, my Tao. I am now alive, well and happy.

I simply wanted to let you know I visit your site, and many other related sites on the NET regularly, and think your ventures and efforts are worthy, helpful, and important to me.

Thank-you,
JRM
