 Most of our 2011 Walk team More photos | The Yoga Group is proud to once again have been an active participant in the annual Aids Walk Colorado, on August 13, 2011. The Walk is the largest fundraiser for the Colorado AIDS Project and other local beneficiary organizations providing AIDS services and education, including The Yoga Group. The Yoga Group has organized a team of walkers every year since 1991, and it has been a beneficiary organization of the Walk since 1993. We don't have final numbers yet, but this year our team raised roughly $5,600 in online and other donations, and we should end up in the top ten teams in the Walk! Our thanks to these sponsors for their donations of incentive prizes for our team: Iyengar Yoga Center of Denver (yoga class coupons); Iyengar Yoga Center of Boulder (bolster); Yoga for Health (gift certificate); and King Soopers at Coal Mine and Pierce (juice and pastries for our Walk team).
